High Quality Swedish-Steel Blades:  These scraper blades are made from hardened Swedish steel and designed to remove thick multiple layers of paint and varnish. If you happen to run into a nail or metal, these blades can easily be re-sharpened on a wet-wheel or a 1750rpm grinder. It is not recommended to use a 3400 rpm grinder. A faster grinder will heat the blade up too much making it loose the hardening. This may result in wearing down the blade very quickly.

Tungsten carbide steel blades:  Tungsten carbide blade scrapers have been used by professionals in Europe for a long time but are rarely available in the USA. You will most likely not find these scrapers in regular paint stores (unless they purchased them wholesale from us). Our two sided slightly curved tungsten carbide blade is extremely durable. Use this scraper blade with the two hand scraper for finishing surfaces before priming and painting or varnishing. In many situations, this scraper replaces a sander.

Stainless steel scraper blades.  This blade is for our economy scraper and can be sharpened the same way as the hardened steel blades.

Big Dawg Blade   Large Parallelogram scraper blade for removing massive amounts of paint from clapboard siding and other flat or semi flat wood surfaces. Each side measure 3". Specially designed for fitting the edge between clapboard that is slightly less than 90 degree's. The cutting edges are slightly curved on each side for better effectiveness. This blade is also large enough to be used for any custom shape. You can grind this down to accommodate any molding shape.
